Wathena Fall Festival

Event Date:
Saturday, September 2, 2023 - 7:00am to 10:30pm

The festivities of September the 2nd will start at 7am for Biscuits & Gravy provided by the Mason’s at the stage. You best rest up and fill your stamina bar because up next is the FCA 5k and 10K run/walk. Registration begins at 7am with the race starting at 8am, along with a kid’s Fun Run. Later in the morning there will be a Tractor Show followed by Childrens Parades at 11:30am, which will be LEVEL UP themed. Closely following at 12pm, the carnival, petting zoo, and booths open for the day. If you need some heat resistance to counter the suns rays, look no further than to the Hamster Wheel Snow Cones opening around high noon.

How much have you lost in a game of cornhole? Well now’s your chance to be a BIG SHOT and compete in the Corn Hole Tournament and become legend. If luck be a lady tonight, pray she gives out nat 20’s because the Pie/Dessert Baking Contest drop off point is at City Hall between 3-4pm.

If your party should need some rest from these wearisome quests, then stop by the City Hall at 5pm for some pulled pork brought to you by the RHS Cheerleaders. Following at 6pm is the Lynn Rice Memorial Pie/Dessert Auction. The last event of the night will take place at 8:30pm and will be 2 hours of dueling pianos. And with 10:30pm approaching, the carnival and booths will close until tomorrow.
